Approved Signatories of a Statutory Declaration

There are a number of people who may be able to witness your statutory declaration. A Commonwealth statutory declaration under the Statutory Declarations Act 1959 will need to be witnessed by a person who is both:

• on the list of authorised witnesses (below), and
• has a connection to Australia, with the exception of a notary public (however described)

Medicare

The Personal Property Securities Register is an electronic register that allows security interests in personal property to be registered and searched in accordance with the New Zealand Personal Property Securities Act 1999 and the Australian Personal Property Securities Act

IP Australia

IP Australia is an agency of the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science. IP Australia administers intellectual property rights and legislation relating to patents, trade marks, registered designs and plant breeder's rights in Australia.
